Each Saturday morning of the festival there is a 26-mile bike ride through the Hill Country highways and byways. Bring your bike, helmet, and water bottle and meet at 9 AM in front of the Festival Office.  Rides are for intermediate touring class and at least 10-speed equipment is recommended.  The bike ride is free of charge.

Route: From the Quiet Valley Ranch the group will head north (toward Kerrville) on Medina Hwy (TX Hwy 16) for 2 miles.  They will then turn east on Lower Turtle Creek Road (FM 2771) and travel this lovely rural road for 6 miles until they reach Bandera Hwy (TX Hwy 173). Then it's north again on 173 for roughly 9 miles back to Medina Hwy (TX Hwy 16) in South Kerrville.  Then the group hangs a left and heads for home, another 8 miles, to the Quiet Valley Ranch.  This last leg has a few good hills so be prepared.
