Meet the KFF FoundatioN Board of Directors

The Kerrville Folk Festival Board of Directors is a dedicated group of members who are passionate about the Festival and the gifts songwriting brings to the world.  On a volunteer basis, these folks dedicate at least one evening a month to a business meeting and many board members take on additional leadership roles to sustain Foundation activities.  When meetings are face-to-face, board members pay all their own expenses.

Foundation Board Nominations Now Open

The nomination window is open to fill five open seats on the Kerrville Folk Festival Foundation Board of Directors.

Nomination Window:
February 3 – March 5, 2026 (closes at 1:59pm CT)

This is a working board, and we encourage nominations of individuals who are willing to commit meaningful time and energy to the guidance of the Foundation, our festivals, and related events. We are especially seeking candidates with experience in:

  • Financial management and budgeting
  • Fundraising
  • Music and/or nonprofit leadership

We also aim for a Board that reflects the full breadth of our community, across backgrounds, ages, and lived experiences.

To be eligible for placement on the ballot, a nominee must be submitted by an active Foundation member during the nomination window.
Self-nominations are not permitted.

(no later than 1:59pm on March 5, 2026)

Eligible nominees will complete an application, and final voting will take place at the Annual Membership Meeting.
