John Knox Ranch has graciously donated a two-night stay at The Calvin Cottage, nestled in the scenic Texas Hill Country. This gorgeous, 300 acre property is home to a summer camp on the Blanco River in Fischer, TX for one-third of the year. The rest of the year, it is a peaceful getaway featuring multiple rental cabins, hike and bike trails, disc-golf course, plenty of room to spread your wings and commune with nature, and even a private spring-fed “blue hole”.

The Calvin Cottage is the most historic facility at John Knox Ranch. Rough-hewn on the outside, the Cottage is newly remodeled indoors, and quite comfortable. Guests are invited to make themselves at home in this 2 bedroom / 2 bath, climate-controlled private house. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining area, and deck overlooking Carpers Creek in the back. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds.
