2019 Kerrville Folk Festival Wine Seminar

Hosted by Wine Guru John Bratcher from Rock Ridge Wine Traders, this seminar will present a panel of Vintners from four of Texas’ top wineries including McPherson Cellars, Brennan Vineyards, Pedernales Cellars, and for the first time participating in one of our popular seminars, Bending Branch Winery.
For this year’s program, instead of featuring a particular type of wine, we have given the Vintners an opportunity to put their “Best Foot Forward” with their choice of their TEXAS REDS. Each 100% Texas grown wine will paired with a delectable morsel which will complement the unique characteristics of these wines. Here is what we have in store for you:

BRENNAN VINEYARDS / Rebecca Conley / “Super” Nero d’Avola paired with Manchego Cheese
PEDERNALES CELLARS / Melissa Contreras / Tempranillo paired with Grilled Pork Loin
BENDING BRANCH WINERY / Jennifer McInnis / Tennat paired with Dark Chocolate
Pre-paid registration is required. Attendees must also have a Festival ticket (valid wristband) for Saturday, May 25. Registration is limited to 100 people. Tickets are available online or at the Festival Wine Booth in the Kennedy Outdoor Theater on Thursday, May 23 or Friday, May 24. Price is $15 per and includes a souvenir Festival wine glass. Seating will start at roughly 4:45 PM and the seminar will begin at 5:00. No late arrivals please.
