Weekly Virtual Silent Auction!
For the KFF Foundation (and thus the Festival) to endure this trying time, we must pursue creative fundraising avenues, and that’s where you can help! The KFF Silent Auction is a long-held tradition of the Festival, and we are bringing it into the digital age through a new weekly KFFF Virtual Silent Auction. We will be auctioning 1 - 5 items per week (original art, vacation stays, health products, jewelry, etc.) from now through the end of the year 2020. All the proceeds go to supporting the KFF Foundation's ability to present KFF in the future.
We’ve had great interest from a range of donors at many levels and we are so excited to welcome you to be a part of it! The weekly auction will run Sundays 5pm through Saturdays 5pm. At 5pm on Saturdays, the highest bidder wins! Stay tuned in to the weekly auction by following the KFFF Virtual Silent Auction on Facebook and Instagram and/or checking this page and the KFFF BetterWorld.org Auction page.

We chose the free fundraising software BetterWorld.org as a platform for the KFFF Virtual Silent Auction. Better World relies 100% on donations to continue their software operations, so you'll see opportunities to support their platform.
When you arrive at the main Virtual Auction page, you'll see a gallery of items up for auction for that week. Each week's auction begins at 5pm on Sundays and bidding closes at 5pm the following Saturday. The highest bidder at the close of the auction at 5pm on Saturday is the winner and will be contacted very soon from the KFFF Auction Team. (If for some reason the highest bidder does not fulfill their pledge, the next-highest bidder will be contacted immediately.)
From the main gallery page, you can click on each auction item or package to find out more information and see additional photos. Each item's page only allows for a maximum of 4 photos, so if you are interested in bidding on an item and would like additional photos emailed to you, please contact fundraising@kerrvillefolkfestival.org with your request.

BIDDING:
- To bid once on an item, type your bid amount into the bidding field and click the 'Bid' button.
- To allow the system to bid automatically up to a specific maximum amount, type your maximum bid into the lower field titled 'Set Max Bid' and click the 'Set Your Max Bid' button.
- You will then be asked to enter your contact information and payment details (which will only be used if you are the highest bidder when the auction closes at 5pm on Saturday). Make sure to enter a separate shipping address if applicable. Click "Place Bid" and you'll be the highest bidder!

If you are the highest bidder at 5pm on Saturday, you win the auction, your payment will be processed and you will receive an email from BetterWorld.org immediately after the auction closes. (Make sure to check your Promotions folder in Gmail.) The KFFF Virtual Auction Team will reach out to you soon to arrange fulfillment & receiving the item.
