Cancelled for 2025 to focus on flood relief efforts
For more than 50 years folks have gathered on Quiet Valley Ranch to celebrate the Kerrville Folk Festival. The community greets one another with the phrase, “Welcome Home!”
Several years ago, fall gatherings, nicknamed, “Little Folk,” were hosted on Labor Day Weekends. In 2019, we started an all-new fall gathering: Welcome Home Fest. WHF is smaller, more intimate, and even more relaxed than KFF. All the shows are presented at Threadgill Theater or Chapel Hill, and ticket sales are capped to match this capacity.
Whether you are a long time Kerrville Folk Festival attendee or are coming to experience Quiet Valley Ranch for the first time, the Kerrville Folk Festival Foundation joyfully welcomes you to take part in Welcome Home Fest.
About Welcome Home Fest 2025:
Because our focus right now is on service and recovery, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Welcome Home Fest this October.
We know this gathering means a lot to many of you—and we didn’t make this choice lightly. But in this moment, offering care to our neighbors feels like the most important thing we can do, and it seems insensitive to promote anything that isn’t focused on helping our community in this time of so much need and suffering.
We are in early conversations about a flood relief benefit concert (or two) in Austin and/or San Antonio in August, and we’ll keep you posted as those plans come together.
We’ve already reached out directly to all current ticket and RV site holders with refund options. If you have any questions or need help with anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here for you.
Thank you for believing in this community—for showing up, for reaching out, and for holding space with us, even when the music and fun must take a pause.
