Singer/Songwriter Bernice Lewis talks about the structure of contemporary song, and why it
works.  She will deconstruct several songs, analyzing components, story line, use of poetic
devices, chord structure, melody, and talks about how contemporary song has evolved
historically.  She includes information for musicians, non-musicians, and would-be songwriters.
Bernice is Artist Associate in Songwriting at Williams College in Williamstown, MA and
founding faculty member of Songkeepers at Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX.
