The Kerrville Folk Festival has always been shaped by conversation. The Town Hall Community Meeting is a space for that conversation to happen out in the open, with everyone welcome at the table.

Formerly known as the “Mayor’s Meeting,” this gathering has evolved into a more inclusive, festival-wide forum. Rather than relying on designated camp representatives, all festival participants are invited and encouraged to attend, listen, ask questions, and share thoughts about life in the campground.

Led by the festival’s Executive Director and production team, the Town Hall provides an opportunity to hear updates, learn about logistics and infrastructure, and raise concerns related to the day-to-day workings of the festival. It’s also a chance to better understand how decisions are made and how the community can help keep the festival running smoothly and respectfully for everyone.

Whether you come with a question, a suggestion, or simply a desire to stay informed, the Town Hall Community Meeting reflects Kerrville’s long-standing commitment to transparency, collaboration, and shared stewardship of this special place.
