New for 2026: A Hill Country field trip (with wine… and a little whiskey)
We’re heading out for a special Day 8 excursion to Bending Branch Winery on Thursday, May 28. Nestled in the rolling hills just outside Kerrville, Bending Branch is known for its innovative approach to Texas winemaking—and its adventurous spirit doesn’t stop at the vineyard.
In addition to a guided wine tasting, guests will have the option to taste one of their small-batch bourbons, making this outing a true two-for-one Hill Country experience. Full bourbon flights and cocktails are available for purchase.
Guests will be shuttled to and from the property in one of our artist transportation vans, making for an easy off-site escape. Whether you’re there for the wine, the whiskey, or just a change of scenery, it’s a chance to stretch your legs, sip something new, and return to the Ranch in time for the evening’s music.
Choose Your Session
Session 1: Tasting + Tour
2:00 PM to 4:30 PM | $80 per person
In addition to the guided wine flight and bourbon sample, guests will experience a tour of the winemaking facility and tasting room. (Plus, there may be additional surprises!) Capacity is extremely limited with only 10 spots available.
Session 2: Tasting Only
Departs the Ranch at 3:00 PM and returns at 5:00 PM | $40 per person
This option includes a guided wine flight in the tasting room. 10 spots available.
What’s in the Flight?
Each tasting features five wines: one white, one rosé, and three reds. Additional pours, whiskey tasting, and light snacks will be available for additional purchase on site
Transportation Details
- Round-trip shuttle provided in a Festival van (33 minutes each way)
- You’ll receive departure/check-in instructions via email in the weeks leading up to the Festival
- Please arrive a few minutes early so we can roll out on time
Important Notes
- 21+ only. A valid photo ID is required.
- Space is limited and this is a brand-new offering, so we expect spots to go quickly.
- Please plan to hydrate and pace yourself. We want everybody to have a great time and return to the Ranch safely.
