Before there was genres, music was felt through ones heart, the Belladonna Theory attempts to encompass just that, {Music to the heart}. At the 2017 Kerrville Folk Festival, singer song writer David Kash along side musical savant Gary ''Saxy" Thomas, planted a seed that is now known as Belladonna Theory. The band evolved from a duo and grew to a six piece ensemble within three years adding four other outstanding musicians. Matthew James Butler (Vocals, Keys, Mandolin, guitar), Tre Guzardo (Lead Guitar), Briezie (bassist), and Pat Mcorkindale (Drums). Currently based out of the Texas Hill country this new band has recorded an EP which should be available by mid December 2023 and plan on touring by 2024. Songs such as "Wolves" showcase the bands creativity in songwriting and musical composition with a GYPSY-DIXIE/Tom Waitsesq. like sound. With new songs on the horizon Belladonna theory is growing their fan base and is excited to release these new song as new opportunities arise.
