Off-Season Visits to Quiet Valley Ranch
When the Festival is not in session, Quiet Valley Ranch is closed to the public.
Utilities are limited, most buildings are locked, restroom access is restricted, and the grounds are not staffed for general visitation. Our small year-round team is focused on producing the Kerrville Folk Festival and maintaining the property.
Quiet Valley Ranch is private property and is not a public park, campground, or recreational facility.
If you are visiting someone who lives or works on the Ranch, you must coordinate directly with them in advance. Unscheduled drop-ins are not permitted.
Off-Season Camping
Off-season camping is extremely limited and is not offered as a public campground experience.
In general, overnight stays are reserved for approved volunteers participating in scheduled work weekends or individuals conducting official Festival business.
On the off chance that we are able to accommodate a request outside of those circumstances, the following conditions apply:
• All stays must be requested and permission must be granted no less than 48 hours in advance through the Festival Office.
• Availability is limited and not guaranteed.
• All stays must be pre-approved and paid in advance.
• Access to facilities will be limited.
Camping Rates (if approved)
Tent & Car Camping – $10 per person per night
Basic Electric Hookup (includes water) – $10 per night
30amp Electric Hookup (includes water, no sewer) – $35 per night
Full-Service RV Hookup (includes water, sewer & electric) – $40 per night
Requests that do not receive written confirmation from the Festival Office should be considered denied.
